Introducing: Robert Barron, Client Director for CFO Advisory

We’re thrilled to welcome Robert Barron to the Xact Accounting team as a new Client Director in our CFO Advisory division.

Robert brings over 30 years of commercial and executive experience across industries, from small businesses and public accounting practices to large-scale engineering and construction firms exceeding $4B in turnover. He’s led growth strategies that expanded businesses from $80M to $250M, directly managed teams of over 250 staff and 4,000 subcontractors, and negotiated over $1B in contracts.

A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Member of the Institute of Company Directors, Robert has a powerful blend of technical knowledge and hands-on experience. He’s known for his ability to align people, processes, and systems to strategic objectives, implement digital solutions that drive efficiency, and lead corporate governance programs that support growth and investor readiness.

Robert describes himself as someone who’s driven to “make a difference”, a value that perfectly aligns with our mission at Xact. His leadership style is open, inclusive, and growth-focused, with a strong belief in individual excellence working towards team success.

When he’s not advising clients, you’ll likely find him working on the family farm, playing music with friends and family, or water skiing on the dam.
