  • Xact enters Top 100 at 90, following 5x growth over the last 5 years
  • Ranked 3rd Fastest growing firm in the Top 100
  • Awarded “Overall Best Use of AI”

Xact Accounting and Advisory has been recognised by the Australian Financial Review as one of Australia’s Top 100 Accounting Firms, ranking 90th nationally and named the 3rd fastest growing firm in Australia with 60 percent organic growth. This places Xact among the strongest performing firms in the country, with growth achieved entirely through ongoing client demand rather than mergers or acquisitions.

The firm was also named Accounting Firm of the Year at the recent 2025 Commercial Finance Awards, and Accounting Firm of the Year at the 2025 Australian Accounting Awards. This recognition reinforces Xact’s position as one of Australia’s leading commercial accounting firms and a specialist partner for construction businesses that require clear financial control and strong commercial discipline.

Demonstrating the firm’s ongoing commitment to innovation, the AFR also awarded Xact Overall Best Use of AI. The accolade highlighted Xact’s leadership in developing automated reporting packs, strengthened reconciliation processes, and early-stage testing of automated BAS preparation and review. These capabilities support faster reporting, tighter control, and more decision-ready information for construction businesses that operate in demanding commercial environments.

CEO and Founding Partner Michael Renton said:

We are proud to be recognised by AFR. This result is the most recent chapter in a growth story that has seen us 5x our business in just 5 years. It also speaks to the quality of the stellar team we have and their ability to keep pace with a rapidly changing landscape. We are proving that when you put an amazing team together you can achieve really amazing results.
