Declan Marston

Declan is a Management Accountant and CFO Adviser based on the Sunshine Coast. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and is currently working towards his CPA qualification. Declan works with construction business owners who want greater clarity and control over their numbers, helping them build the reporting and financial systems needed to make confident decisions and support sustainable growth.

His focus is practical financial visibility, reliable management reporting, and creating numbers business owners can actually use to understand performance, manage cash flow, and plan ahead. Before joining Xact, Declan worked within a large construction business, where he developed strong commercial experience and gained firsthand insight into the financial and operational challenges construction businesses face as they grow. This industry background allows him to deliver advice that is commercially focused, practical, and grounded in real operational experience.

Outside of work, Declan enjoys spending time at the beach with his partner and their dog.
