Xact Accounting is pleased to announce the appointment of David Holzgrefe as Partner, recognising his leadership, commercial expertise, and ongoing contribution to the firm and its clients.
Dave brings more than 25 years’ experience across accounting, commercial leadership, and business ownership. He began his career at KPMG, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant, before building a career advising and leading businesses operating in complex environments, particularly across the building, construction, and mining sectors.
A defining aspect of Dave’s experience is his background as a business owner. He founded and scaled his own business, successfully growing it to the point of acquisition by a private equity-backed industry consolidator. This firsthand experience provides Dave with a strong commercial lens and a practical understanding of growth, risk, and decision-making insight he now brings to his work with Xact clients.
Since joining Xact Accounting, Dave has been a key member of the CFO Advisory team, working closely with business owners to support strategic planning, financial clarity, and sustainable growth. He is a regular contributor at Xact events and a facilitator in the Strategic Planning Workshops, where he helps clients translate long-term goals into practical, executable strategies.
Dave’s appointment as Partner reflects his leadership within the firm, his commitment to client outcomes, and his alignment with Xact’s purpose of supporting business owners at every stage of their journey.
