- Superannuation Guarantee (SG): The SG rate will increase from 11.5% to 12% of an employee’s ordinary time earnings. This is the final step in the legislated SG increases, designed to strengthen retirement outcomes for Australian workers.
- Apprentice Wages: 3.5% Increase to Minimum Wages: The Fair Work Commission has announced a 3.5% increase to the National Minimum Wage and all modern award minimum wage rates, effective from the first full pay period starting on or after 1 July 2025. This increase applies to apprentices covered by modern awards, with specific rates varying based on the award, year of apprenticeship, and age.
